It’s a parade of cattle and a treat for the young and old. The World’s Largest Honky Tonk, Y’all! Check out the live bull riding, two giant dance floors, local concerts, and over 30 bar stations. Also, I did so much research into this and can confirm that no animals are hurt in this rodeo. Grab your $20 tickets to the rodeo, grab a beer, and enjoy the show. You’ll fill your days with things to do in Fort Worth at the Stockyards: The Stockyards experience is so unique to this city and something fun for everyone, whether you are from Texas or not. My absolute FAVORITE thing about Fort Worth. This one is just fun and unique, so definitely go inside if you have the time and want to learn something about Texas cowboy culture. The building itself is a work of modern art and you should go just for that. If names like Karl Struss and Frederick Church mean anything to you, go here. Probably one of my favorites, but this may be because I spent so much time here as a kid! A great spot for families and lovers of science and museums. ![]() Cultural museums are great things to do in Fort Worth if you have the afternoon to hit them all. It has every type of museum: from the Cowboy Museum to Science to Modern Art. ![]() Also home to some gorgeous luxury retailers if you want to do some shopping.įort Worth Cultural Museum District is actually quite a beautiful area, and if you love a museum then this is a must-check-out area. Home to some Fort Worth favorite eateries such as East Hampton Sandwich Co and HG Sply Co. It’s a Safari Park you can drive through to feed and hang out with the animals! They come right up to your window, and you bet they want to come inside. Technically not in Fort Worth, but still have to include this. This is a great way to enjoy the sunshine and the Trinity River! Also, love the breweries in the area are great here! Spend the afternoon kayaking and paddle-boarding over on Panther Island. It’s extremely picturesque for my bloggers and photographers! I cannot stress enough how cool the water gardens are. You have three very unique and beautiful waterfall-like structures and one of the most unique things to do in Fort Worth.
